What Is GivingTuesday?

Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good.
 

Over the last 12 years, this simple idea has blossomed into a global movement, inspiring hundreds of millions to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. At Whitney Young, Giving Tuesday presents a perfect opportunity to support our Annual Fund with your tax-deductible donation.

This year, we're excited to introduce two new ways to recognize your generosity:
•    Donors who contribute $500 or more between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025, will be honored on our Champions Among Us Donor Wall and receive a commemorative 4-inch magnet

•    All donations of $25 or above will receive a special 3-inch Whitney Young decal
