The Annual Fund is the largest fundraising campaign led by Friends of Whitney Young, and it plays a vital role in supporting the excellence our school is known for. Your support allows us to invest directly in our students through academic departments, student clubs, and athletic teams by way of our grant request program.

This year, the Annual Fund will also provide meaningful support to the Dolphin Depot, a program created to ensure students have access to the technology and assistance they need to reach their full academic potential.

Because of You

Because of you, more than 74 student clubs and organizations are able to grow, create, and achieve. Your generosity ensures that all students, regardless of background, have the resources to pursue their passions and contribute to our community.

Your support has made it possible for:

• Students in the Dance Department to attend a professional performance that enriched their artistic growth

• Members of the Medi-Club to earn CPR certification, gaining valuable life-saving skills

• Our Global Citizenship students to engage with powerful real-world experiences through the Refugee in the Classroom program

Annual Fund donations have also covered registration and competition fees for a wide range of student groups, including Poms, E-Sports, Model UN, Science Olympiad, Mock Trial, Debate, Math Team, Golf, Track and Field, and Business Professionals of America.

Your contributions have also provided:

• Equipment for the Aerospace, Soccer, and Ping Pong teams

• Supplies for unique student-led clubs such as Boxing, Skate, Crochet, and All-in-One Hair

• Maps for classrooms, cameras for the Yearbook staff, and high-quality sound equipment for the Performing Arts department and Poetry Club
