Who is FoWY?

Friends of Whitney Young (FoWY) is a parent-run, non-profit organization founded in 2000 open to everyone in the Whitney Young community. FoWY raises funds to support student and faculty initiatives that enhance the academic experience for each Whitney Young student.

FoWY has awarded $730,000 since its inception. Every parent and guardian plays a critical role in the success of Whitney Young, and the partnership with FoWY assures its continued success.
